Funding background

The ACCF was establish in 2014 to support African countries to build their resilience to the negative acts of climate change and transition to sustainable low-carbon growth.

Eligibility

African governments, regional organisations, funds, non-governmental organisations and research institutions with offices registered in Africa.

Financing

Grants in the range of 250,000 USD to 1 million USD

Key Dates

The ACCF currently has no new calls for proposals and its Demand Driven Window is closed. There are provisions under the Operational Guidelines of the ACCF to issue competitive CFPs every two years based on the availability of resources.
