The Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment was established in 1997 by Jeremy and Hannelore Grantham. It is a private foundation.

Eligibility

Proposals with indirect costs must be above 10%. No other eligibility criteria stated.

Financing

The Grantham Foundation makes grants through environmental philanthropy, as well as investments through its corporate venture capital arm – the Neglected Climate Opportunities LLC.

Applying

Grantham Foundation and Grantham Environmental Trust review proposals by invitation only and are not able to consider proposals with indirect costs above 10%.
