Eligibility

Nonprofit organisations can be funded for a range of activities, including research, conferences, white papers, and general operating support. For-profit startups and not-for-profits beyond public charities (such as social welfare organisations) are eligible. This fund is global but is based in the USA.

Omidyar Network does not accept unsolicited proposals. The network seeks new investments based on funding priorities and typically source opportunities from within the network of partners and contacts.
